This is the end our friends. We'd say it's been emotional, but if we're honest our brains and memories are now so addled we can barely remember anything of it. Did we really share stages with Peaches, 2ManyDJs, Fever Ray, Santigold, half of the world's most exciting newbies, and Kanye West? We think we did y'know.

But above all else, undeniably, is the gut feeling that we have just come out the back end of the biggest and wildest World Tour of the noughties. And no NME or Guardian end-of-decade list is gonna tell us otherwise. We owe hearty handshakes and the most sincere of air kisses to our guides and heroes HEARTSREVOLUTION and The Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt! for backing up our selection with a seies of ripsnorting live shows, and to you all for coming the world over.

Now we hope you forgive us if we go lock ourselves in a bedroom for a couple of months.
